Hi, my name is Tiffany Castro. I go to the Enlightenment School and it is great here. I'm attending a program called "The Worx Program" and it has been a wonderful experience. This is my last year here at Enlightenment. After school, I want to follow up on my career in nursing.

Jasmine Maldonado

My name is Jasmine Maldonado. I'm 18 years old and a senior at the Enlightenment School. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. On May 17th, 2005, my family and I moved to CT. It's sort of okay, but the only thing I like out here is having my friends, Lyne, Samantha, Lynn and Kalana. My favorite color is blue. I love everything about this school. It's the best I've been yet. If it wasn't for this school, I wouldn't have found my best friends. I joined the Worx force program because I thought it would be a great learning experience and it would help me out with an extra credit to get into a very good college. I'll be going to a good college to become a counselor - a very successful one too.

Lyne Daniels

Hi, my name is Lyne Daniels. I am 16 years old and a Junior at the Enlightenment School. I was born in Ansonia, Derby in the month of April. What I like to do in my spare time is watch my nephew and chill with all my real friends. I also like to go to parties and watch funny movies. I don't like scary movies and phony people. I also don't like being told 'no.' I am also active in many different things in school. I am in music class. I joined the Worx Group so that I can learn new things and to design a website. I would love to have a new experience working with The Worx Group. My favorite cartoon character is Bugs Bunny, and my favorite colors are pink and blue. I am hoping that I can get into Post University. My close friends call me Lam. That is my nickname.

Angela Cruz

My name is Angela Cruz. I'm a sophomore at the Enlightenment School. I really enjoyed working with The Worx Group. It was really fun and a great experience. This site helps people understand how the Enlightenment School works. The students get a second chance to do better.

My future goals are to graduate and become a teacher. Not just any teacher, but I would love to help kids in the Alternative Programs.

Kalana Eason

My name is Kalana Lanee Eason and I am 18 years old. I'm a senior at Enlightenment School and I've been attending that school for 3 years. After I graduate I want to attend Post University for Human Services and Early Childhood Education. After college, I want to work with the Department of Children and Families or become a sixth grade math teacher. I like to listen to music such as Keyshia Cole, Diddy, Remy Ma, and Omarion. I also like to write poetry, sing and dance. In my free time, I watch children while their parents are out, and sometimes I babysit for free so parents could have some time to themselves. My favorite color is purple and I love to draw pictures of my favorite character, "Betty Boop."

Lynn Goodson

My name is Lynn Marie Goodson, I am 17 years of age. My birthday is May 14th and I am a Taurus. I was born in Danbury, CT, but I grew up in Philly. I now live in Waterbury, CT, where I attend the Enlightenment program. I am currently a senior at Enlightenment and can't wait to graduate. I plan on attending college and becoming the biggest success story of my family. I want to go to school to study psychology. It's sort of a last minute choice for me, but I'm sticking with it. I started my high school years off on the wrong foot, but when given a second chance at success I can honestly say I am a better student. Last but definitely not least, I love the Los Angeles Lakers (and not just Kobe Bryant).
